Project Map
NFI and Schneider are operating regional haul and drayage routes, moving 40-foot trailers of goods across Southern California. Some of the routes serve the Ports of Los Angeles (POLA) and Long Beach (POLB), while other routes move goods between logistics and warehouse facilities. Most of the daily routes are under 150 miles round-trip, allowing for return-to-base charging once or twice per day at either the Schneider facility (El Monte, California) or the NFI facility (Ontario, California).
The neighborhoods adjacent to major roadways and freeways used by the fleets experience disproportionate impacts from emissions from trucks and goods movement activities, and are designated as “disadvantaged communities,” as defined by state guidelines such as AB 617 and SB 535 to support targeted air quality intervention. Therefore, JETSI is directly helping these disadvantaged communities by eliminating tailpipe emissions for BET trips.
